Hallelujah Noodles

Description

This is a recipe that has been passed down through my church. Great and easy to cook for large gatherings. Everyone I’ve cooked it for loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked linguini pasta
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ⅓ cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 (10 ounce) package mixed baby salad greens
  • 1 (8 ounce) package imitation crabmeat, flaked
  • 1 bunch chopped cilantro
  • 1 avocado – peeled, pitted and diced

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place linguini pasta in the pot
  2. cook for 8 to 10 minutes
  3. until al dente
  4. and drain.
  5. In a bowl
  6. whisk together the soy sauce
  7. olive oil
  8. sugar
  9. vinegar
  10. and sesame seeds.
  11. In a large bowl
  12. toss the cooked pasta with the soy sauce dressing
  13. greens
  14. imitation crabmeat
  15. cilantro
  16. and avocado. Chill until serving.

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 25 mins
