Ground Flax Egg Substitute

Description

Wonderful substitute for eggs, especially in cookies, brownies, muffins and breads. It works every time. Store ground flax seeds in a sealed container in the refrigerator or freezer.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons very warm water
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Instructions

  1. Whisk water and ground flax seeds together in a bowl until combined
  2. about 30 seconds. Let sit until slightly thickened
  3. about 2 minutes.
  4. Whisk again
  5. about 30 seconds. Let sit until thickened
  6. about 2 minutes more.
