Grilled Pork Loin Chops

Description

Tangy, a little sweet, very moist and very easy to prepare — you’re going to love these grilled chops. They turn out wonderfully tasty with an awesome array of flavors. You might want to throw an extra chop on the grill for leftovers, because you will have a craving for it the next day — guaranteed.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 (6 ounce) thick-cut boneless pork loin chops

Instructions

  1. Whisk honey
  2. soy sauce
  3. Worcestershire sauce
  4. brown sugar
  5. garlic
  6. ketchup
  7. ginger
  8. onion powder
  9. cinnamon
  10. and cayenne pepper together in a bowl. Pour 1/2 of the marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add chops
  11. coat with the marinade
  12. squeeze out excess air
  13. and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator
  14. turning occasionally
  15. for 4 to 8 hours. Refrigerate remaining marinade in the bowl.
  16. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat
  17. and lightly oil the grate.
  18. Remove pork chops from marinade and shake off excess. Discard the marinade from the plastic bag. Grill chops on the preheated grill
  19. basting with some of the reserved marinade until meat is browned
  20. no longer pink inside
  21. and shows good grill marks
  22. 8 to 10 minutes per side. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a chop should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
  23. Pour remaining reserved marinade into a saucepan over medium heat
  24. bring to a boil
  25. and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook marinade until slightly thickened
  26. about 5 minutes
  27. stirring constantly; serve sauce with chops.
