Freaky Edamame

Description

This is a popular appetizer at the Mikuni Sushi restaurants in the Sacramento area, and the restaurant concierge provided this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven spice), or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt, or to taste (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (1 pound) package frozen cooked edamame, thawed
