Easy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Description

A great fall treat! For a different twist, try adding 1 cup fresh cranberries instead of chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. Stir flour
  3. sugar
  4. cinnamon
  5. baking soda
  6. baking powder
  7. salt
  8. and nutmeg together in a large bowl.
  9. Whisk pumpkin
  10. butter
  11. and eggs together in a separate bowl. Stir in chocolate chips. Fold pumpkin mixture into flour mixture. Pour pumpkin batter into prepared loaf pan.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean
  13. 1 hour.
