Doreen’s Asian-Inspired Swordfish Steaks

Description

This is a delicious, easy way to grill fish….another family favorite! An Asian-style marinade goes perfectly with swordfish.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 4 (6 ounce) swordfish steaks

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce
  2. vegetable oil
  3. sherry
  4. ginger root
  5. and garlic in a medium bowl. Fill a large resealable bag with the mixture. Place swordfish steaks into the bag and shake to coat. Place bag in the refrigerator
  6. and allow the steaks to marinate
  7. at least 4 hours.
  8. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  9. Grill swordfish steaks until the they flake easily and are opaque in the center
  10. 8 to 10 minutes per side.

Cook Time: 20 mins

Total Time: 4 hrs 25 mins
