Dijon Crusted Halibut

Description

Delightful baked halibut breaded with a spicy mixture of Dijon mustard, horseradish, fresh Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon prepared Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets halibut
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl
  3. mix together mayonnaise
  4. mustard
  5. horseradish
  6. and lemon juice. Stir in 1/4 cup bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese. Arrange fish fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spread bread crumb mixture evenly over fish.
  7. In a small bowl
  8. mix together melted margarine
  9. 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  10. and 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over the coated halibut.
  11. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes
  12. or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
