Diane’s German Chocolate Cake

This is much easier than your old-fashioned scratch recipes and it tastes just as good.

Ingredients

  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package butter cake mix
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup flaked coconut

Prep Time: 15 mins

Cook Time: 35 mins

Total Time: 50 mins
