Deviled Egg Salad with Romaine

Description

It’s a salad that tastes like deviled eggs. My family loves it. This is a recipe for a large family, as I have 5 kids. Another experiment that really turned out great.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons water, or as needed (Optional)
  • 3 heads romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pinch paprika, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk sugar
  2. mayonnaise
  3. and mustard together in a bowl until smooth. Add water
  4. 1 teaspoon at a time
  5. if dressing is too thick. Refrigerate dressing until chilled
  6. at least 30 minutes.
  7. Place romaine lettuce in a bowl; add dressing and toss to coat. Arrange eggs around the lettuce and season with paprika.
