Description
This is a family recipe that lives up to its name. I love these Joes and haven’t found any that taste the same.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup (such as Campbell’s®)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
- 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat
- and stir in the ground beef. Cook and stir until the beef is crumbly
- evenly browned
- and no longer pink. Drain and discard any excess grease.
- Stir in the condensed tomato soup
- brown sugar
- Worcestershire sauce
- and vinegar. Cook and stir until thick
- about 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning to taste
- and serve on the toasted hamburger buns.
