Dark Chocolate Almond Rocks

Description

Dark chocolate almond rocks for a mouthful of sweet nutty goodness!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup almonds, crushed into chunks
  • 7 ounces dark chocolate chips (50% cacao)

Instructions

  1. Spread almonds in a large skillet; toast over medium heat until starting to brown
  2. 3 to 5 minutes. Pour almonds into a bowl.
  3. Melt chocolate in top of a double boiler over simmering water
  4. stirring frequently and scraping down the sides to avoid scorching
  5. about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; pour in almonds and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of chocolate-almond mixture onto a plate lined with waxed paper.
  7. Chill until set
  8. about 10 minutes.
