Description
Basic mashed potato recipe with a rich curry flavor.
Ingredients
- 5 cups baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
- ¾ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground coriander
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Place potatoes into a pot and cover with salted water. Bring to a boil at medium-high heat and cook until tender
- about 10 minutes.
- Remove potatoes from heat and drain. Place potatoes back in the hot pot. Add milk

- curry powder
- salt
- turmeric
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- coriander
- and cayenne pepper.
- Using a potato masher
- mash potatoes until smooth and seasoning is evenly distributed.
