Crumb Topping for Pies

Description

A simple crumb topping or streusel that can be used on top of pies, muffins or even coffee cakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ΒΌ cup butter, diced

Instructions

  1. Mix together sugar and flour in a medium bowl. Cut in butter with a fork or stand mixer just until the topping is crumbly.
  2. Top your pie before baking.
