Ingredients

  • 48 medium (blank)s littleneck clams, scrubbed and rinsed
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • ¼ cup Vidalia onion, diced
  • ¾ pound bulk hot Italian sausage
  • 8 large cloves garlic, minced, divided
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar Classico® Tomato and Basil Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tablespoons shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
  • 1 pinch Cracked black pepper
  • 1 pinch Coarse sea salt
