Description
You’ll love this Marinara sauce! This is great with fried eggplant or meatballs. I’m sure you could add ground meat if you wanted to make a meat sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook 2 to 4 minutes until crisp-tender

- oregano and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until flavors are blended
