Carrot Cake Oatmeal Cookies

Description

Cake-like carrot cake oatmeal cookies with a sweet and fresh taste. Drizzle with melted white or cream cheese store-bought or homemade icing if desired.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange zest
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease baking sheets.
  2. Place butter

  13. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets

  15. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are set and golden
  16. 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
