Butter Icing for Cookies

Description

Perfect for cookies – not too soft – not too hard – just right.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 ½ tablespoons cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted. Stir in vanilla and confectioners’ sugar until combined.
  2. Remove from heat and beat with an electric mixer until thick and smooth.
