Bourbon Glaze

Description

This glaze is great on grilled chicken or salmon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bourbon whiskey
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch dry mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl
  2. combine bourbon
  3. brown sugar
  4. ketchup
  5. Worcestershire sauce
  6. vinegar
  7. lemon juice
  8. garlic
  9. and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Use to baste meat
  11. especially chicken or salmon
  12. while cooking.
