Blueberry Crunch

Description

A family favorite that has my hubby coming back for seconds. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 ½ cups pineapple chunks with juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup quick-cooking oats
  • ⅔ cup dark brown sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Combine blueberries
  2. pineapple chunks with juice
  3. and 1 1/2 teaspoons flour in a saucepan over medium heat; cook
  4. stirring frequently
  5. until mixture thickens
  6. about 5 minutes. Spread mixture into an 8-inch baking dish.
  7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  8. Combine 1 cup flour
  9. oats
  10. brown sugar
  11. cinnamon
  12. and sea salt together in a bowl; mix in butter until topping is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over blueberry mixture.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven until topping is lightly browned
  14. 30 to 35 minutes.
