Blintz Souffle II

Description

A great twist on blintzes, very kid-friendly and easy to make using pre-packaged blintzes.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (13 ounce) packages frozen cheese-filled blintzes
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • 1 ¼ cups white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Melt the butter in a 2-quart casserole
  3. and place the frozen blintzes on top of the butter in a single layer. Mix the eggs
  4. sour cream
  5. sugar
  6. salt
  7. vanilla extract
  8. and orange juice in a bowl until thoroughly combined
  9. and pour the mixture over the blintzes.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is lightly browned
  11. and a toothpick inserted into the center of the casserole comes out clean
  12. about 45 minutes.
