Beth’s Chess Pie

Description

This is a very old recipe that I got from a friend. This version of the classic sweet, rich Chess Pie includes evaporated milk and crunchy cornmeal.

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
