Best Hamburger Ever

Description

These burgers are the best on the grill in the summertime. Jam-packed with all kinds of stuff, and no tasteless bread crumbs!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup shredded Colby Jack or Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.

  17. and pepper in a large bowl. Use your hands to form the mixture into 4 patties.
  18. Cook patties on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear
  19. about 4 to 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
