Best Green Bean Casserole

Description

This great variation of the traditional green bean casserole is topped with French fried onions and Cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans, drained
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 ounce) can French fried onions
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix green beans and condensed soup together in a large microwave-safe bowl until well combined. Microwave on high until warm
  3. 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Stir 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese into the green bean mixture. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Transfer mixture to a casserole dish and spread evenly over the bottom. Sprinkle French-fried onions over top
  6. then sprinkle with remaining Cheddar.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and the onions are just turning brown
  8. about 10 minutes.
