Best Ever Chicken Casserole

Description

Easy baked chicken casserole. It’s our family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup cornflakes cereal crumbs
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large pot
  3. boil the chicken until tender. Cut the breasts into cubes or small pieces.
  4. In a large bowl
  5. combine the chicken pieces with the water chestnuts
  6. onion
  7. soup
  8. most of the crushed corn flakes and mayonnaise. Mix well.
  9. Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the rest of the crushed corn flakes on top of the mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
