Best Ever Banana Bread

Description

This really is the best banana bread I have ever tasted. Very moist and it freezes well. I also bake this in 3 small loaf pans however you may need to shorten the baking time.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ⅓ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix eggs
  3. bananas
  4. oil
  5. and buttermilk together in a large bowl until well combined.
  6. Sift flour
  7. sugar
  8. baking soda
  9. and salt into a separate large bowl. Stir flour mixture into the banana mixture until combined. Gently fold in pecans; pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  11. 1 hour and 20 minutes.
