Description

A mild and healthy warm soup prepared in Western India, good for invalids and babies too!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 sprig fresh curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro
