I’ve had this recipe for quite some time, but I’m not sure where it came from! This is a simple, easy, burger and absolutely delicious! Also, I do not always cook on a grill, and this is just as wonderful if you don’t!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sirloin
- 1 pound ground chuck
- ½ cup chopped onion
- kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 ½ cups chopped fresh tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 8 hamburger buns, split
