Description
These bars are lower in fat than most bar cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 ⅓ cups quick cooking oats
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- ¼ cup skim milk
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
- Mix together oats
- sugar
- baking powder
- cinnamon
- baking soda
- and raisins. In a separate bowl mix together bananas
- milk
- egg whites
- and vanilla. Beat all together.
- Transfer to prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
- Cool and cut into 36 bars. You may sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
- if desired.
