Baked Cranberry Oatmeal

Description

Yummy baked oatmeal with apples, walnuts, and dried cranberries. A perfect way to spice up your plain old oatmeal breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • ¾ cup chopped apples
  • ⅓ cup dried cranberries
  • ⅓ cup chopped walnuts, or as desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Bring milk
  3. brown sugar
  4. cinnamon
  5. nutmeg
  6. and cloves to a boil in a saucepan; remove from heat. Combine oats
  7. apples
  8. dried cranberries
  9. and walnuts in a bowl; transfer to the prepared baking dish. Pour milk mixture over oat mixture.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned
  11. 30 to 35 minutes.
