Artichoke Aioli

Description

This tangy artichoke and mayonnaise sauce is perfect on sandwiches. It stores well in the refrigerator for several days.

Ingredients

  • 1 (6.5 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine artichoke hearts
  2. mayonnaise
  3. Parmesan cheese
  4. lemon juice
  5. lemon zest
  6. red pepper flakes
  7. salt
  8. and black pepper in a food processor or blender; blend until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
