Amish Buttered Egg Noodles

Description

Very tasty, easy buttered egg noodle dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; simmer
  2. stirring frequently
  3. until butter is browned
  4. fragrant
  5. and foamy
  6. with brown bits in it
  7. 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Add chicken broth and bouillon to the pan with the butter; bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in egg noodles
  9. bring to a second boil
  10. cover
  11. and turn off heat; leave pot on the same burner. Let stand for 30 minutes
  12. stirring 2 or 3 times.

Cook Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 50 mins
