Quick Catfish Fillets

Description

A quick, easy, and flavourful family dinner recipe using catfish filets. This dish is particularly delicious served with a citrus and banana salsa.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 (6 ounce) fillets catfish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup oyster sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl
  2. mix the flour
  3. salt
  4. and pepper. Dredge the catfish fillets in the flour mixture to lightly coat.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  6. and cook the catfish fillets 3 minutes on each side
  7. until golden brown. Reduce heat to medium-low
  8. and brush fillets with oyster sauce. Cover skillet
  9. and continue cooking 5 minutes
  10. or until fish is easily flaked with a fork.
