Grilled Asian Cod

Description

Succulent cod marinated in a delicious Asian marinade is a great way to add some excitement to your grilled meal!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces thick-cut cod
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ⅓ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Place cod in a gallon-sized freezer bag. Add orange juice
  2. soy sauce
  3. lemon juice
  4. brown sugar
  5. green onions
  6. ginger paste
  7. and garlic; mix to combine. Squeeze excess air out of the bag and seal. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Place cod in a grill basket and cook on the preheated grill until internal temperature of fish reaches 135 degrees F (57 degrees C)
  9. 7 to 9 minutes.
