Salmon Spread II

Description

Poached salmon elevates a simple cream cheese spread to new heights! Serve with crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 finely chopped green onions
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan of simmering water
  2. poach the salmon filets 10 minutes
  3. or until flaky and tender.
  4. In a medium bowl
  5. mix together cream cheese
  6. sour cream
  7. green onions
  8. salt
  9. hot pepper sauce
  10. lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
  11. Flake salmon into the mixture. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours
  12. or overnight
  13. before serving.
