Honey Ginger Shrimp

Description

This quick and easy, sweet and spicy dish combines honey, ginger, shrimp and garlic, and can be served over steamed vegetables or pasta.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • ΒΌ yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 pound medium shrimp – peeled and deveined
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil and red pepper flakes in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions
  2. garlic
  3. ginger and honey; cook and stir until fragrant. Add the shrimp
  4. and cook for 5 minutes
  5. stirring as needed
  6. until shrimp are pink and opaque. Serve immediately.
