Simple Lemon Herb Chicken

Description

This is a simple, quick and delicious dish. All you need are a few spices and, of course, the chicken! The amount of spices are completely up to you. You can add more or less according to your taste. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch dried oregano
  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in a bowl; pour 1/2 of the lemon juice over top and season with salt.
  2. Heat oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add chicken to the hot oil
  3. along with the remaining lemon juice and oregano. Season with pepper. Sauté until golden brown and the juices run clear
  4. 5 to 10 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with parsley for garnish.
