Mascarpone Frosting

Description

This lovely mascarpone icing is incredibly versatile and can be used to decorate a variety of different cakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ (8 ounce) container mascarpone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine cream
  2. mascarpone cheese
  3. and vanilla extract in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the sugar gradually and keep mixing until frosting is smooth and stiff peaks form
