Air-Fried Buffalo Chicken

Description

By eliminating the butter and frying in a NuWave® or SuperWave® Oven we get a recipe the family loves and is practically fat free! Serve with fat-free ranch or blue cheese dressing and more Frank’s® for dipping!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup egg substitute
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (such as Frank’s®)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (such as Frank’s®)
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips

Instructions

  1. Whisk Greek yogurt
  2. egg substitute
  3. and 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon hot sauce in a bowl.
  4. Mix panko bread crumbs
  5. paprika
  6. garlic pepper
  7. and cayenne pepper in a separate bowl.
  8. Dip chicken strips into yogurt mixture; coat with panko bread crumb mixture.
  9. Arrange coated chicken strips in a single layer in an air fryer. Cook until evenly browned
  10. about 8 minutes per side.
