Roasted Asparagus with Sea Salt and Parmesan

Roasted asparagus makes a simple yet elegant side dish on any holiday table, but is just as easy and delicious for a weeknight family meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
  • 1 lemon, finely zested and juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Place asparagus pieces in large bowl. Add Parmesan cheese
  3. butter
  4. garlic
  5. black pepper
  6. Diamond Crystal® Coarse Sea Salt
  7. lemon juice
  8. and lemon zest. Toss to coat evenly.
  9. Transfer asparagus to baking dish in a single layer. Bake until asparagus is tender and beginning to brown
  10. stirring occasionally
  11. about 15 minutes.
