Description
SPAM® is not something I eat often but when I do, I like it extra crispy. I found a can in the pantry and decided to give it a go in the air fryer. The outside was far crispier than you get in a skillet on the stovetop and the inside stayed nice and tender.
Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon ketchup
- 1 (12 ounce) container fully cooked luncheon meat (such as SPAM®), sliced into fries
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Whisk mayonnaise
- Sriracha
- and ketchup together in a small bowl. Set dipping sauce aside.
- Place luncheon meat fries into the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Work in batches if needed. Fry for 6 minutes. Flip fries using tongs. Cook to desired crispness
- about 4 minutes more. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve with dipping sauce.
