Coconut Rice

Description

Basmati rice is simmered in coconut milk, instead of water, giving it a rich flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups Basmati rice
  • 4 (10 ounce) cans coconut milk
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over high heat
  2. combine rice
  3. coconut milk and salt; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat
  5. cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes
  6. or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.

Cook Time: 25 mins

Total Time: 30 mins
