Rebekah’s Keto Egg Casserole

Description

Egg casserole can easily be made with any breakfast meat and made ahead for an easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package breakfast sausage
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook sausage
  3. breaking it apart with a wooden spoon
  4. until browned and crumbly
  5. 5 to 7 minutes. Spread over the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  6. Mix eggs
  7. Cheddar cheese
  8. cream
  9. onion
  10. mustard
  11. oregano
  12. salt
  13. and pepper together in a bowl. Pour mixture over the sausage.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven until firm and cooked through
  15. 30 to 40 minutes.
