Best Black Beans

Description

This simple black bean side dish works well with Mexican or Cuban meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can black beans
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • ΒΌ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine beans
  2. onion
  3. and garlic in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in cilantro
  5. cayenne
  6. and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes.
