Coffee Butter Frosting

Description

For coffee lovers. A delicious mocha frosting. Perfect with chocolate, caramel, or white cakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅓ cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tablespoon strong brewed coffee

Instructions

  1. Whisk powdered sugar and cocoa powder together in a small bowl.
  2. Beat butter in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until creamy
  3. 2 to 3 minutes. Gradually add powdered sugar mixture
  4. beating well after each addition and scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl occasionally. Add coffee and beat until smooth.
