Marinated Pork Roast

Description

This is a great marinade for any meat. I especially like it on pork roasts, but it can easily be used on chicken or ribs.

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 pound) pork roast
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seed
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Prepare grill for indirect heat.
  2. In a large resealable plastic bag
  3. combine the Worcestershire sauce
  4. honey
  5. vinegar
  6. mustard seed
  7. mustard powder
  8. lemon pepper
  9. celery salt
  10. and garlic; seal
  11. and mix ingredients. Place the roast in the plastic bag
  12. press air out of bag
  13. and seal. Marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator
  14. turning the roast occasionally to help coat while marinating.
  15. Lightly oil grill grate. Place roast on grill
  16. and discard marinade. Cover
  17. and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
  18. or until internal temperature is 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

Cook Time: 2 hrs

Total Time: 4 hrs 15 mins
