White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Description

These are my favorite cookies my grandma used to bake for me. They are really good with a tall glass of cold milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ⅔ cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl
  3. cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time
  4. then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour
  5. cocoa
  6. baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the white chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven
  8. until cookies are set. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
