Coconut Jasmine Rice

Description

This is one of my favorite rice recipes. It goes great with just about anything! Try a ginger chicken main dish with it!

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
  • 1 ¼ cups water
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 ½ cups jasmine rice

Instructions

  1. Stir coconut milk
  2. water
  3. sugar
  4. and salt together in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  5. Add rice and bring to a boil. Cover the saucepan
  6. reduce the heat to low
  7. and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed
  8. 18 to 20 minutes.

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 20 mins

Total Time: 30 mins

Servings: 6
