Sweet and Tart Vegan Granola Bar

Description

These chewy granola bars are packed with all sorts of nutrient-dense ingredients like dried cherries, sliced almonds, shredded coconut, and dark chocolate. This bar will fill you up and provide you with a lot of energy for times when you are on the go.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ¾ cup vegan dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup agave nectar
  • ½ cup chopped dried cherries
  • ⅓ cup applesauce
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a 7×11 1/2-inch pan.
  2. Mix oats

  15. 18 to 20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before cutting into bars. Let bars cool completely before removing from pan.
