Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies

Description

Chocolate brownies with a cookie dough layer over it. And yes the cookie dough is safe to eat, because it contains no eggs.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups miniature chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9×13-inch baking pan for the brownies.
  2. Combine 2 cups sugar
  3. 1 1/2 cups flour
  4. 1 cup butter
  5. cocoa powder
  6. eggs
  7. vanilla extract
  8. and salt together in a bowl. Pour brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven until set
  10. about 35 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and let brownies cool completely
  12. about 30 minutes.
  13. Combine 1/2 cup softened butter
  14. brown sugar
  15. and 1/2 cup white sugar in a bowl. Add 1 cup flour
  16. vanilla extract
  17. and milk. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and spread cookie dough on top of the cooled brownies in the pan. Store in the refrigerator.
