Strawberry-Pineapple Smoothie

Description

This simple smoothie recipe tastes great and is so easy. My 8-year-old daughter did this for a demonstration speech, and it was a big hit with her classmates. It is a filling snack for adults and kids.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon wheat germ (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the strawberries
  2. milk
  3. pineapple juice
  4. vanilla yogurt
  5. sugar
  6. ice
  7. and wheat germ in a blender until smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of the blender a couple of times. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
